Hello beautiful people! I feel like it has been so long since I connected with you! But as this semester is settling in, it is time that I get back on here and show up for you guys.

Firstly, you should know that there a lot of good things in the works. A lot of half-written blog posts, a lot of partnerships forming, and a lot of creative inspiration scribbled all over my mirrors. That being said, for some reason I’ve had a really hard time getting those idea and plans into action. That’s why you haven’t seen any blog content from me. That’s also one reason I’m writing this post: I really just need to get something completed.

Secondly, I am having a really hard time getting the latest styles to share with you all. Unfortunately, unless you have multiple long-term partnerships with clothing brands, you have to buy all of the new trendy clothes every season. I have been thrifting some, but then you all are not able to go find the exact item that I am wearing. I was planning a photoshoot last night, and I just felt like I was putting the same items together in different ways. Again, I am working on partnerships to remedy this, but until then please bear with my limited income.

But most importantly, you should know that this break DOES NOT mean that I am stopping. I have so many ideas for content per day that I don’t know what to do with them. I am constantly on the hunt for inspiration. And I am constantly on thinking about how I can show up for you.

 

Many of you, I’m sure, have noticed that I am creatively stagnant right now. And that is true. But I am grinding so hard to pull myself out of that, to reignite the flame, to reaffirm my purpose.

Shooting definitely helps with that, so I shot with two different photographers on Monday so they could help inspire me. Here are some pics from K Smith Photography.

If you look closely, you can see where a rain drop carved a line into my bronzer.
